 Permanent Part TimeTuesday - Friday 9 am - 4.30 pmBaptistcare is one of WA’s largest not-for-profit providers of residential care, at home services, retirement living and disability services, supporting individuals and communities in metro and regional areas for over 40 years, and employs over 1,500 staff.Working under the direction of the Lifestyle Coordinator, the Therapy and Leisure Partner is responsible for the person-centred implementation of leisure, lifestyle and therapy activities with the residents at our Aged Care Facility.  You will also work closely with the Occupational Therapist &/or Physiotherapist to deliver quality therapeutic interventions with our residents including the preparation, application and evaluation of programs and activities.You will have a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent or be working towards one. Effective communication skills and the ability to understand the needs of people with dementia in relation to leisure and therapeutic activities are essential.Experience in Aged Care, the ability to work autonomously, a current driver’s licence and computer knowledge is preferred.Baptistcare operates 14 residential care facilities in the Perth metro area and regional WA. Therapy Leisure Partner - Margaret River
