Baptistcare is one of WA's largest not-for-profit providers of residential care, at home services, retirement living and disability services, supporting individuals and communities in metro and regional areas for over 40 years, and employs over 1,500 staff.Baptistcare operates 14 residential care facilities in the Perth metro area and regional WA. All facilities provide the highest possible standard of care, offering a wide range of services to our aged care residents. As a Care Partner you will be promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents through person-centered, individual care at our Aged Care Facility. The main role of this position will involve engaging with residents in meaningful activities of their life such as assisting with personal hygiene tasks, eating, moving around, household tasks and leisurely activities.Ideally you will have a Certificate III in Individual Support or be working towards attaining one. Having the ability to communicate well and build relationships with people from many walks of life is essential as is being able to complete a busy workload and respond to changing priorities.This role would be ideal for someone that is looking to join the Aged Care sector.
