Recognising the work of our staff is very important to us at Baptistcare. We know our staff are doing their best to meet the needs of the people they work with and to put smiles on their faces. We want them to know the difference they are making in our communities is appreciated and noticed.

Industry recognition

Our exemplary staff have been recognised by our industry peers for their excellence. Baptistcare employee, Cale Swift was announced as the winner of the Trainee Award at the Aged Care and Community Services WA (ACSWA) Excellence in Care Awards and Aged Care and Community Services Australia (ACSA) National Aged Care Awards 2014. Cale commenced working with Baptistcare in June 2011 as a Physiotherapist. This experience of working in aged care had a significant influence and led to his decision to pursue a career as a facility manager. He commenced his Masters of Business Administration and joined the Gracewood residential aged care facility team as a trainee manager and is now a Facility Manager.

Our Dementia Enrichment Project won the ACSWA 2016 Projects – Strategy and Innovation Award.
