Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 3.30 pm
Working under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for planning and leading the person-centred implementation of leisure, lifestyle and therapy activities with the residents at our Aged Care Facility. This involves leading and managing the team of therapy and leisure partners and the recruitment, induction and supervision of volunteers.
You will have a formal qualification in Health, Aged Care, Allied Health Assistant or Community Services. Effective communication skills and the ability to understand the needs of people with dementia in relation to leisure and therapeutic activities are essential.
