Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Housekeeping Partner provides a range of high quality person centered services to enhance the well-being, comfort and enjoyment of residents with a particular emphasis on providing a comfortable, clean and homely environment for our residents.
Your role will involve completing laundry, house cleaning tasks, assists with movements of large items including furniture and rubbish bins and completes other ad-hoc tasks as required. In fulfilling this requirement, the Housekeeping Partner will contribute to the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by partnering with residents to be involved in household tasks as meaningful life activities.
You will need to be able to complete a busy and physically demanding workload, respond to changing priorities and have good time management skills. Having genuine empathy and respect and enjoying working with aged care residents is essential.
The successful candidate must be available every Monday and to cover annual leave.
